Located in a none descript Strip mall in the "Island Paradise" of Key Biscayne, Vitos is a cozy family owned Italian cuisine establishment I frequent with the family. The last visit was good though I was not impressed the "carbonara" in the Fettucine Carbonara. Just tasted funky probably old. My kid's fettucine alfredo was good and plentiful , the service is personable and given the size of the place (small) there is no lack of attention.

This is a tiny restaurant located in Key Biscayne which is run by Italian chef/owner Vito. It might not be fancy but the food is very good. Upon seating down the waiter always brings fresh bread with their home-made pesto dip. The wine selection is solid with traditional Chianti's and a new favorite Giome (cabernet/merlot blend).. The fried calamari is crispy and flavorful. The linguini with white clam sauce was a generous portion with a delicious and tasty sauce. A little steep with prices, but thats Key Biscayne. Would definitely recommend.

From such a small hole-in-the-wall kitchen, comes consistently spectacular food! Italian from scratch, homemade in an intimate casual setting. Vito's and Joe's are the two staples for every visit to Miami for my family!

Vito is adorable and a staple of Key Biscayne. While there are other Italian restaurants on the Key, Vito's is ideal if you are looking for a comfortable familial place with delicious food. His seafood pastas and soups are excellent.

What's not to like....every small community needs a Vito's - a warm greeting, good food, good prices, always reliable. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but the lasagna, the eggplant special and the chicken florentine rock. Vito's is in the same category as The Oasis - Key Biscayne treasures

Sigh...what happened to Vito's....so disappointed. Calamari was tough and oily, fettuccini carbonara was meh...chicken Marsala florentine was burnt on the bottom... That's not the worst... Not one, not 2, but three roach sightings. One roach ran on a neighboring table. This place used to be a gem on the key, but now....don't know if I would come back. Felt really embarrassed as I brought a friend....

No, just no. I came to this place with no expectations. My dad and I both ordered eggplant parmigiana. The waiter (who I think was also the owner) asked us if we wanted pasta on the side. I asked if I could have salad instead but he said it didn't come with salad so we both agreed to get the spaghetti. The spaghetti was fine, nothing amazing, a bit acidic, a very small portion. The eggplant parmigiana was really bad. I refused to finish it. I think that something was past its due date. My dad and I each had two glasses of chianti. The grand total was $94.00 before tip! And the spaghetti which we were lead to believe to be included was $19. WTF? The size of the pasta plates was equivalent of a bread dish. Literally 4 bites of pasta in watery red sauce. The ONLY REASON THIS EVEN GETS TWO STARS is because of the heavy pour of decent red wine. I would never come back. I think a chain Italian restaurant has better food (and better prices). Also this place is tiny and the inside is gross, dirty and dated.
